The sauna works fine it arrived with a broken Ceramic heater I told Amazon and they said to contact Maufacturer I did on 1/27/11 and Have tried three time only response send us a phone number so we can call, they never called.Stay away

Need for Heat doesn't have to TRY and sell you a Sauna, the research speaks for itself. The clean, consice layout of the science behind sauna usage, the health benefits (I had no idea that they could help with cancer, weight loss and so many other things the list just goes on and on!) and even the history of the sauna was enough for me. I particularly loved the science behind them as my hubby is a major give-me-the-facts- kind of guy and even he could see how beneficial an inrared sauna could be for us.

For anyone who has a sauna and wants to learn more about them or someone who is interested in buying a sauna, Need for Heat is a must read!!!

This product is everything I hoped for. Have purchased three in the last few years for my spa. They have been small.. with zippers that don't work. This bed seems to heat evenly... has Velcro enclosures and is big enough to fit all of my clients without a problem.

This appears to be a well constructed product that is easy to set up and use. Toward the end of my first session I was sweating a little. Now, even after turning it up to 60C (140 F) I feel warm, but I do not produce a body cleansing sweat. To me this is a big drawback to buying this product.

this is by far the best sauna slimming suit for the price...i had purchase a 1 month unlimited infrared body wrap from a salon..and i swear this suit makes me sweat more..it helps me with my sleep also.not to mention my cellulite has diminished a little, i use it 3-4 times a week..i'm going on my 5th week, and i feel more healthier, as it gets the toxins out....

Possibly the dumbest product ever created. Sauna pants? It's almost offensive to the Finnish sauna tradition it's so off the mark. There are a lot of reasons to take saunas, but losing weight isn't one of them. Incredibly idiotic product.

Like a lot of guys, I sometimes have trouble getting a good crotch sweat going. Wrapping my nethers in plastic wrap and a dozen freshly baked Hot Pockets only goes so far. So, as soon as I saw this magnificent product I knew I must have it. The friendly orange hue and easy-to-use velcro attachments greatly appealed to me, and I was very pleased to see the roomy 54" waistline!

The first time I tried it I was simply amazed. I had never been so relaxed as I felt my own musky brine soak into every hairy crevice and all the pores on my considerable backside opened up. I fell into a deep meditative trance as my ears were soothed by the gentle sprinkle of ball sweat rolling down my glistening hammy thighs and dropping into a small tepid puddle on the floor. I sat there luxuriating in the cozy warmth of my nethers, slowly saturating my living room couch, and came to only when the depth of my relaxation allowed a small burst of flatulence to rise up and out of the Sauna Pants in a series of hot humid bubbles that tickled my lobster-red skin as they rolled out.

Now on freezing mornings the first thing I do after heaving myself out of bed is slip on my splendid Sauna Pants! Everyone else at the bus stop may be shivering but with my Sauna Pants tightly secured beneath my Utilikilt like a giant orange diaper, I know no fear of cold. When the bus arrives, my sweat-lubed legs slide effortlessly against each other as I waddle for the door. The pungent aroma that arises reminds me of my own healthful vitality. Through either jealousy or appreciation, I am always left with my own seat.

My husband and I own a day spa and this has been a wonderful adjunct to many of our other services. For the gentleman concerned about the pool of sweat at the end of the treatment...I'll share what we do professionally to eliminate that discomfort. First lay down a large beach towel. Next lay a full size cotton flannel sheet down. Wrap with the sheet, then the blanket. This does not hinder the effectiveness of the treatment, but it does contribute to the overall comfort. After the treatment we launder the linens and spray the blanket with a disinfectant after it's cooled down. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

The FIR sauna blanket utilizes far infrared rays (FIR) to heat the body from the inside out as opposed to a typical sauna, which just heats the air around you. This process is ideal to a typical sauna in that it enhances detoxification of the body and the release of heavy metals.

Using this product now for approximately three weeks, I can say that the sauna blanket works very well. You will definitely sweat and you will feel like you've had a deep cleansing at the end of a 30min session. You will also have the feeling of a vigorous workout as your heart beats faster. Here, you get a cardiovascular workout that's similar to jogging 2.5 miles. You do lose weight and calories. The weight loss is due mainly to water loss and will be regained immediately after replenishing the body with water. However, the calorie loss is real and can contribute to material weight loss over time.

The only criticism I have of the sauna blanket is that it works too well; meaning that you will be literally swimming in your own sweat, which obviously doesn't feel too good. You actually feel like you are in a mini pool. And since your pores are opened and the skin is supper absorbent, you just take in those toxins that you just released by laying in the sweat-pool. The key is to immediately jump in the shower right after the session is complete. So, that's why I only give it four stars.

In the future, it would be nice if these type of blanket saunas could employ some kind of drainer that can perhaps connect to a cup or bowl; this way it can capture the pools of sweat so that you're not feeling like you're taking a bath in toxic water. It would also greatly improve the cleanup process. The other alternative is to purchase a walk-in, sit-down sauna, which is usually a lot more money.

Overall the product does what it claims and once you take a shower you do feel the difference. If you can stand the sweat, so to speak, then I would highly recommend this product.

I assembled the Sauna by myself, that's how easy it was to do and, it only took me an hour and a half to do. What I like most about this particular type of sauna (Infrared) is that you don't get that stale smell that you get from steam lava rock saunas. I put my towel down on the bench and floor and when I get out of the Sauna I put the sweaty towels in the washer. It takes at least twenty minutes for it to warm up so I would advise you to do a little work out prior to getting in which also speeds up the sweating process. Affordable, it works, and it does not take up alot of room or use alot of electricity.

The assembly instructions could have been better for this product, but it really is easy to assemble, and is very well designed. The pieces fit together well and overall the quality is good for the price. I had a couple of small problems--the screws for the towel bar were too short and the screws for the small shelf wouldn't tighten up, but I didn't really need the towel bar and the shelf is usable.

I used it every night until the weather got hot and am still using it occasionally in the Summer; I will resume using it every night in the Fall. I work full time and go to law school in the evenings, and I find it a great stress reliever before going to bed. I don't know if any of the claimed health benefits of far infrared saunas I've read on the Internet are true, but it feels great and I sleep better when I use it. I find it a comfortable size for one person.

I love the fact that it consumes a very small amount of electricity, has a small footprint, and that it can be easily disassembled and relocated.

I bought this sauna on oct 30th and it arrived yesterday, nov 4th, really fast!!!
I used this morning and was amazed how I sweated!! the foam that comes with it for the floor of the sauna got wet.
The sauna heats fast and you start sweating in about 10 minutes.
I kept a glass of water and a towel nearby to dry my face.
Felt really good afterwards.
The price was low and the quality high. It is well constructed and everything looks like top of the line.
I think every household should have one of these, considering all the benefits.
Also is a good way to burn calories in the winter time (I live in Missouri). They say you can burn calories as if jogging for 30 minutes.
Very happy with this product and the fast delivery.
